Will Njobvu
Will Njobvu is a dynamic TV, radio, and podcast host known for his infectious personality, charisma, and extensive live presenting experience, which has established him as a major talent in both mainstream media and online.
He’s been a host of the Saturday Breakfast Show on Capital Xtra and has regularly appeared as an entertainment presenter on ITV’s Good Morning Britain In 2024, he has expanded his reach in the U.S. by presenting entertainment news segments across the NBC television network, including NBC News and the popular TODAY Show.
Will’s collaboration with Netflix UK in 2024 includes hosting coverage of Love Is Blind UK, where he served as a backstage correspondent for the reunion show and hosted the grand finale screening red carpet in London. Additionally, he worked with Channel 4 on Married At First Sight UK, hosting the show’s launch premiere in London.
He’s recently appeared as a celebrity panelist on BBC Two’s panel show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, The Apprentice You’re Fired and previously Love Island Aftersun on ITV2.
In early 2023, Will’s documentary Life After Love Island for Channel 4 became the highest-performing episode of the network’s Untold series, amassing over 2.5 million views. His work with Netflix has taken him to South Africa, where he hosted a reunion-style show for a new reality TV program.
Will has also served as the lead on-stage host of Pride in London’s main stage at Trafalgar Square, introducing top acts like Rita Ora, Adam Lambert, and Bebe Rexha. He’s hosted The Masked Singer: Unmasked on ITV2, where he shared backstage moments with panellists Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora, and Mo Gilligan.
A regular co-host on Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine, Will has also hosted ITV2’s FYI Daily and co-presented BBC Africa’s children’s show What’s New?. His celebrity appearances include being a panelist on ITV2’s Love Island Aftersun, BBC Two’s Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, The Apprentice You’re Fired, and I’m A Celebrity: The Daily Drop on ITV2.
In 2018, he produced a short documentary, Sudden Cardiac Deaths, for Victoria Derbyshire’s BBC2 show, exploring the impact of undetected heart conditions, a cause close to him as he was diagnosed with a severe heart condition at 22. Will is now an active supporter of the British Heart Foundation, who recently hosted the Young Heart Hero Awards.
On social media, Will engages over 8 million viewers monthly on TikTok, appealing to his Gen Z audience with humorous takes on pop culture and his viral podcast Reality, where he interviews top reality TV personalities. Becoming a media entrepreneur has led Wil to do talks on high performance in a working environment and leadership.
Before launching his presenting career in 2019, Will worked behind the scenes in broadcast journalism at ITN, Sky News, and ITV’s This Morning. He holds a degree in journalism from De Montfort University’s Leicester Media School.
Will’s personal journey is one of overcoming adversity. Diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse at 22, he’s since become a voice for heart health with the British Heart Foundation. He’s open about his struggles with depression and his journey to acceptance, offering hope to others facing similar challenges. His bravery in coming out as gay live on the radio in 2022, despite facing threats, shows his commitment to living authentically and supporting LGBTQ rights
Will was bullied in school for his sexuality, dealt with depression and contemplated suicide – which makes his decision to live his truth more meaningful. Today, he hosts the Pride in London stage at Trafalgar Square. Will also speaks on diversity and inclusion and often draws on his own experiences of racism at school and in the television industry.
Diagnosed with ADHD in his late 20s, Will speaks on neurodiversity and helps people who aren’t neurodiverse to understand the minds of those who are, to help raise awareness.
