Taylor Notcutt
Taylor Notcutt is a disability advocate, accessibility consultant and inspirational speaker
Taylor has been a VIP since birth, diagnosed aged two with leber congenital amaurosis, resulting in being registered legally blind. Her visual impairment has not stopped her living a full and happy life, exceeding expectations from her initial diagnosis.
The hospital told her parents that she would never read, write, ride a bike or attend mainstream school. Through the fantastic guidance and support from her family combined with her own determination she proved them wrong. She read stories, wrote her name, got on that bike, and later graduated with a 2:1 with hons from university after being educated through mainstream schooling.
Her passion and drive have lead her to the world of advocacy and campaigning, as she believes that the world should be accessible and inclusive to all, no matter your background or disability.
Together we can take the ‘t’ out of can’t.
