Professor Steve Peters is a Psychiatrist and keynote speaker on Peak Performance and leadership and is the resident psychiatrist at Team GB Cycling. Liverpool Football Club, as well as other leading sporting professionals, are just another example of the organisations he has worked with.
Professor Stevens specialises in the functioning of the human mind, and his work has included him working with the NHS for over 20 years, as well Senior Clinical Lecturer of Medicine at Sheffield University.
He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is on the College Membership Panel for examinations, and is the Chair of the Anti-Doping and Medical Committee for World Masters Athletics.
The Chimp Paradox – his bestselling personal development book – was published in 2012 and over has sold over 1 million copies.
