Katherine Baker is Founder and CEO of Intrinsic Energy, an EdTech platform looking to revolutionise corporate training methods, to make learning and development more impactful and accessible for all.
With over 8 years of experience as a trainer and speaker, working for companies such as Cisco, Unilever, Schroder’s and Goldman Sachs, Katherine saw the challenges employees were facing when it came to their own career development. Upon receipt of a grant from Innovate UK in 2020, she launched Intrinsic Energy in 2021.
As a key-note speaker, facilitator, coach, and writer, Katherine inspires people to maximise their personal and professional potential through developing deeper self-understanding and stronger communication techniques. She has worked across the US, Europe, and South East Asia, supporting clients in achieving and maintaining prominence in the global economy by focusing on management leadership, business development, and personal growth.
Katherine has worked with a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to start-up ventures, supporting them in achieving and maintaining prominence in the global economy by focusing on management leadership, business development, and personal growth.
Katherine is also responsible for co-founding Congress London, a women’s support and mentoring network that helps women to progress their own careers and become inspirational leaders. Featured in Marie Claire magazine, The Evening Standard, and The Financial Times, Katherine hosted panel discussions and spoke at their regular large events. The aim of the events was each person to come away with actionable guidance that they can use immediately to improve their working life.
Katherine Baker has a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude with a double major in Psychology and Art History from Vanderbilt University (USA). She is a certified Trainer, Coach and WebEx facilitator, allowing her to deliver workshops and live online webinars to clients around the world.
