Olympian & Paralympian Speakers
At the time of writing the next Olympic Games are due to take place from 23rd July 2021 to 8th August 2021 in Tokyo, with the Paralympics following from the 24th August to 5th September 2021.
Whilst we all hope the Games do go ahead the opportunity to actually see the event in person might be limited.
These are just some of the Olympians and Paralympians we are lucky enough to work with and if you are looking to plan an event online and theme it around the Games, all of these speakers can talk on subjects such as teamwork, goal setting, overcoming adversity, resilience, and leadership – as well as covering their own experiences of competing at an Olympic or Paralympic Games.
OLYMPIANS
Double Olympic Champion Dame Kelly Holmes is one of the UK’s most famous athletes, respected throughout the world as a role model and an inspiration.
Setting and holding the British records in the 600m, 800m, and 1000m, Dame Kelly Holmes is an Olympic, Commonwealth, and European champion that has achieved seven Gold, eight Silver, and four Bronze medals throughout her career. This includes her double win in the 800m and 1500m at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, becoming the first Briton in over 80 years to do so. After her Olympic success, she won BBC Sports Personality of the Year, European Athlete of the Year, and was honoured with a Damehood from the Queen.
Donna Fraser has become a leader in equality diversity and inclusion with over 10 years of corporate experience within business, sport, leadership, well-being, and PMA for both start-ups and established companies. Donna Fraser is a 4x Olympian and former 400m sprinter for Great Britain, with a successful athletics career that spanned over 20 years and has a host of European, Commonwealth, and World medals. She was recognised with the Freedom of the Borough of Croydon in 2018 for services to sport and continues to be enthused to help inspire a generation through education by ‘giving back’ and sharing her knowledge and experience with young people aspiring to achieve their goals
Joanna Rowsell Shand is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Cyclist, winning Gold in 2012 and 2016, and is a motivational and inspirational speaker on teamwork and overcoming adversity. Joanna came to cycling quite late and was talent-spotted at 15. It was not something she had proactively done before so was a testing challenge for her, but with determination and perseverance, she won junior titles and represented her country at the Junior World Championships. Between 2010 and 2011 a series of setbacks and unsuccessful tournaments meant her place in 2012 was not guaranteed. However, through her dedication, she recovered and battled back to become World Champion, World Record holder, and Olympic Champion in 2012.
Sharron Davies occupies a unique position in British life. In an age of increasingly fleeting fame and notoriety, she has been one of the UK’s best known and most popular sportswomen since bursting onto the scene as a 13-year-old Olympian in 1976. More than 40 years later she is still a popular, in-demand, and much-admired character. As a sportswoman, television personality, devoted mother of three, public speaker, model, enthusiastic charity worker, powerboat racer, author, interior designer, and equestrian – Sharron enjoys a busy and varied life and retains remarkable popularity amongst those aged 8 to 80!
Helen Richardson Walsh won a Gold Medal as part of the GB women’s hockey team at the 2016 Olympics and is a keynote motivational speaker and speaker on equality. Helen has competed in four Olympic Games and was the youngest ever woman to represent GB hockey at an Olympics in 2000.
The significance of her gold in 2016 was made all the more memorable as she was part of the first same-sex married couple to win an Olympic medal playing for the same team. Her wife was GB captain Kate Richardson-Walsh, and they entered history when they stepped onto the podium.
Some of the other Olympians we work with include Garry Herbert, Kriss Akabusi, Roger Black & Tessa Sanderson

Danny’s drive and determination saw him back on the rugby field within 6 months and shortly after into Paralympic sport, quickly dominating – famously winning gold in the men’s 800 metres at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, a year which also saw him set a new world record. It was the highlight of a glittering international career that saw Danny win every major title in the sport, including the World Championships, European Championships, and Paralympic World Cup.
