NEW SPEAKERS
We are delighted to welcome Adam Weymouth and Felicity Ashley to the website.
Adam Weymouth is a writer journalist and speaker. His work has been published widely, including in Granta, The Atlantic, The Observer, and the BBC. His features have covered subjects as diverse as illegal cedar logging in Malawi; the politics of oil and climate change in Alaska; migration in Greece; flooding in Wales and the depopulation on the Outer Hebrides – always focusing on the interplay of people, animals, and the natural world. He has been named by the National Writing Centre as one of ten writers shaping the UK’s future. His topics include –
Taking time: A Life in Journeys – What I learned from walking to Istanbul, paddling the Yukon, and following the footsteps of a wolf across the Alps.

Felicity Ashley is a powerful, relatable and inspirational speaker who draws on her extensive business experience as well as her extraordinary personal journey to help organisations, leaders and teams transform their mindsets, increase their resilience and tackle their toughest challenges head-on.
Felicity stands out as a speaker due to her compelling combination of business acumen and remarkable personal experiences. Her 20-year career leading blue-chip marketing teams provides her with a deep understanding of organisational challenges, whilst her incredible feat of rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic with undiagnosed cancer makes her story truly inspirational. Winston Ben Clements is an Inclusion Speaker & Advocate with expertise in the areas of disability awareness, anti-racism, and resilience. He was predicted to live a life of isolation and pain due to a rare bone disorder known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). This condition caused his bones to be extremely fragile, suffering over 200 fractures in his lifetime. Winston has recently updated us on his speaking topics including his talk on “Accessibility: Leveraging AI for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion”.
Akil Hunte is an internationally renowned speaker, lawyer, and social entrepreneur whose life’s work is dedicated to inspiring generations to defy barriers, embrace resilience, and lead with purpose.
Recognised as one of the most influential voices in social mobility, diversity, and transformative leadership, Akil’s journey from inner-city London to the forefront of global change exemplifies his commitment to breaking down systemic barriers for others. Growing up in a single-parent household and overcoming personal traumas—including being struck by a car and witnessing the Grenfell Tower fire—Akil emerged as a resilient advocate, equipped with a profound understanding of adversity and an unyielding drive to create opportunities for others.
