March 2020 Book of the Month
Our March 2020 book of the Month is speaker Kathryn Colas Book “How to Survive the Menopause without Losing Your Mind”.
Kathryn Colas is the go-to expert when it comes to menopause. She pioneered a new industry and set up Simply Hormones as a result of her own debilitating and life-changing experiences; resigning (unnecessarily) from her job as she felt she couldn’t cope.
Kathryn went on to develop online learning programmes as well as live workshops for three distinct groups: individual women, line managers, and occupational health and hr professionals. SimplyHomones has a team of Menopause Ambassadors delivering qualified information across the UK.
The latest addition to Kathryn’s portfolio is the publication of her book: How to Survive Menopause without Losing your Mind.
The book tells all about Kathryn’s ten years of hell, near suicide and how she overcame her difficulties, so you can circumvent complications and misdiagnoses commonly experienced by women. Kathryn answers your essential questions and more…
•What do you do when your personal relationship is breaking down?
•What do you do when symptoms affect your work performance?
•Does your doctor sympathise and know how to help you?
Kathryn says, “Menopause is not just ‘women’s business’. We must encourage men to get involved”. Everything you’ve ever needed to know about menopause and how to shake it into shape!
As a speaker, Kathryn has spoken at events about the menopause and to companies about how they can better support their staff that might be going through the menopause.
